High up on the rocky Witwatersrand – or as we call it here in Jozi, the Rand – is where you’ll find us.
Take a ride up our glass elevator for dinner and drinks at View, meet friends for a traditional braai (barbecue) at Flames, or simply step out onto your room’s balcony to enjoy a quiet moment as you admire the endless canopy of jacaranda trees that stretches out before you, which, come springtime, will blanket our northern suburb streets in a sea of purple blooms.
Despite being in the middle of South Africa’s largest city, the Westcliff Hotel feels like a chic hillside village, with nine sun-splashed villas woven with courtyards, fountains and gardens.
Panoramic View Premier Room
You’ll find these rooms all over the Hotel, but with a selection of different configurations, no two are exactly alike. The view, however, is unbeatable no matter where you are. Room size: 40–50 m2 (430–538 sq. ft.).

Found throughout our Hotel, the views from these spacious rooms are beautiful and varied. If you’re lucky, you might even spot an elephant playing in the neighboring Johannesburg Zoo. Room size: 36–40 m2 (388–431 sq. ft.).
Royal Suite
A grand lobby entrance reveals a staircase and a private elevator, both leading up to your suite’s two upper floors, where three bedrooms, a dining room set for eight people, a separate study, a lounge and a private gym are awaiting your arrival. Room size: 202 m2 (2,174 sq. ft.).
Presidential Suite
The living room’s wall of windows opens up to panoramic views in this contemporary suite, set in our Golden Jubilee Residence, while the dining table invites family and friends to join you for a meal shared by the fireplace before toasting to an evening well spent n your private terrace. Airy and welcoming, these spacious suites are filled with natural light that brightens every corner, from the living room to the separate bedroom, while the private terrace provides a breath of fresh air. Room size: 53-69 m2 (570-743 sq. ft.).
