Rosenhof Country House is situated in Oudtshoorn, en route to the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm and the Swartberg Pass. The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity.

The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished. Choice of a Twin, Double, Double Twin or King Room. 12 Rooms situated around a beautiful courtyard, each with their own patio. Ideal for single travelers, families or couples looking for a relaxing retreat or romantic getaway. Warm earthy tones and neutral lines are complemented by wood furniture and a colourful touch. Each room differently decorated to offer a unique sense of style. Ensuite bathroom with separate shower and bath, heated towel rails and hair dryers. One Room suitable for disabled guests.
The Bird Cottage
3 NEW guest bedrooms in one house. Ideal for couples, friends or families travelling together. Each Bedroom has been given a South African Bird Species name as the Cottage is surrounded by trees with many bird species, nesting close by. Room 1 – Hoop Hoop. Room 2 – Robin. Room 3 – Kiewiet. The 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor with bedroom 1 & 2 opening onto a large patio. Room 2 also has a separate sitting room area with a Double Sleeper Couch where we can accommodate 2 children under 12. Room 3 is the smaller room, ideal for a Single Occupancy with its own private patio and view of the Herb Garden. On the ground floor is a study and large sitting room area that opens onto a veranda and private pool.
